A great week for Maddy, Jayda, Will and Kaleb.
To celebrate Tree Day, our class worked with staff from Bunnings and Eurobodalla Council to undertake some tree planting and garden mulching. The gardens at the front of the school are now in much better shape and several herb-filled hanging pots were planted on the canteen wall. The students were very involved and the adult helpers were most impressed with their enthusiasm.
A positive final week from Kai (notice the colour coordinated pants and mask - very stylish!), Callum, Roisin and Tahni.
This week we have seen a great variety of presentations. Some presentations were about topics of interest.
Others involved making or doing. We even had some fabulous cooked items brought in to share. A combination of Google Docs, Airplayed work from devices and video presentations greatly enhanced the talks given by the students. Super efforts. Callum made a presentation about the Sydney Olympic Games and the torch he is holding.
James presented a movie made on his GoPro which showed how he made chicken soup (and cracked a few funnies). Very entertaining. Year 6 received their shirts today and they look great.
A huge thank you to Penny Kemp-Jones for her work designing the screen print and also to Mrs Mealy for her work in organising the order. |
